On Thursday 24th May 2018, our very own CEO and Co-founder Sabine Hutchison, joined the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Frankfurt Chapter as guest speaker for the eagerly anticipated Unlock Your Entrepreneurial Potential event.

Sabine joined fellow panelists, René Esteban, CEO, FocusFirst GmbH, Dr. Susanne Specht, senior business coach and consultant and Dr. Özlem Weib, CEO, Expertants to discuss their individual entrepreneurial journeys.

The innovative and interactive Unlock Your Entrepreneurial Potential event was aimed at providing valuable mentor style insight for fellow entrepreneurs.  For those looking to start their own businesses and also focused on raising and supporting awareness of the importance of an entrepreneurial mindset in the corporate world.

Sabine’s experience at the HBA Unlock Your Entrepreneurial Potential event.

I thoroughly enjoyed being part of the energetic HBA panel discussion, sharing my experiences with those of my fellow co-panelists

The panel felt fairly informal which created a comfortable and open environment. This allowed us to feel relaxed and at ease about sharing our personal entrepreneurial stories and viewpoints.

It’s always a pleasure to share my business journey, especially with such a focused and interested audience. I was able to share insight into the very reasons I founded and developed my business alongside the challenges I faced and overcame along the way.

The level of interaction with the audience was amazing. They were equipped with diverse and challenging questions, which made the event really fun and informative.

For me, the main takeaway was that an entrepreneurial mindset often includes thinking as a corporation/company instead of an individual. This is a powerful concept and thought and perhaps a topic for a future blog post as it really resonated with me.

I loved hearing the stories from my fellow panelists, the successes, and challenges that others go through are always reassuring to hear.

Many entrepreneurs have to walk a similar path to success and sharing their stories and experiences is empowering.

These types of events and settings are so important for entrepreneurs. Being able to talk openly and honestly helps us all grow and learn.

The event took place at the Ernst & Young regional office in Eschborn and it’s delightfully encouraging to see companies involved in such specific and dedicated programmes for entrepreneurs. There is a rise in large corporations taking a big interest in supporting up-and-coming entrepreneurs, and it was great to be a part of it.

I would love to take this opportunity to thank my fellow panelists, for a wonderful and enlightening experience, and of course the HBA.
